Guided Wim Hof Breathing Session

This video is exactly what the title says; Wim Hof himself guiding a 3 round breathing session complete with amazing music, meditative visuals to help lead you through the process accurately and Wim's encouraging voice complete with his signature Dutch accent.

The breathing exercise is 30 deep inhalations and exhalations, 60 - 90 minute retentions followed by a deep inhale and hold for 15 seconds.  Many notice that the more rounds you do, the deeper the effects and relaxation.  That has definitely been the case with me but start slow.  You need to warm up and work your way into it.  Listen to your body and be sure to NEVER do this while driving or while in water as it's quite possible to pass out.  Safety first.

This was my first exposure to Wim Hof and the science behind the method.  It's an interview done by Brian Rose of London Real that is packed full of information related to Wim's history, how he discovered and perfected the Wim Hof Method, the scientific research that has been done related to WHM and so much more.

This video was the catalyst for so much change in my life brought about by diligently practicing the WIm Hof Method.  Wim talks about how cold exposure and breath work can do seemingly miraculous work in helping to heal from trauma, PTSD, anxiety, depression and myriad of other psychological and physical health issues.  

I can attest to it's power to deal with the psychological challenges as this has, without question, been the most powerful modality I have ever deployed in almost instantaneously remedying these issues.

BECOMING SUPERHUMAN WITH ICE MAN - Wim Hof | YES THEORY

This is definitely one of my favorite videos that dives into the power of the Wim Hof Method to display and strengthen our capacity to control our minds and bodies.

In Super Human, the crew from Yes Theory, a popular YouTube channel about confronting the limits of human potential go to Poland to learn the Wim Hof Method from Wim himself.

They prepare themselves to climb a mountain in the dead of winter in -10 to -20 celcius with nothing but shoes and shorts to keep warm.  The journey goes through them training by cliff jumping into glacial fed waters and staying in there for 10 minutes; an incredible feat in itself considering most people will go hypothermic with 2-3 minutes in this environment.  

This documentary has almost 9 million views to date and is a deeply entertaining and impactful display of what the power of the Wim Hof Method and it's potential to exceed known limits of human potential.
